Payment Policy

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)

  • PayPal (Goods & Services)

  • Bank transfer / wire (by arrangement)

  • Bank check (cashier’s check)

  • Cash (local transactions only)

  • Zelle (business account, approved buyers only)

All payments must be received and fully cleared before any order is processed or shipped.

Payment Processing Fees

Payments are processed through third-party providers and are subject to standard processing fees, including but not limited to:

  • Credit & debit cards: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction

  • PayPal: fees assessed by PayPal at the time of transaction (rate varies by account and transaction type)

All payment processing fees are non-refundable, even in the event of a cancellation, return, refund, or dispute.

Cash / Bank Payment Discount

Orders paid via bank transfer (wire/ACH), cashier’s check, or cash may qualify for a 1% discount, as these payment methods do not incur third-party processing fees.

  • Discount applies to the product price only

  • Shipping, insurance, taxes, and expedited services are excluded

  • Discount is applied only after payment method is approved

  • Payment must fully clear before shipment

Discount eligibility is determined at our discretion.

Order Confirmation & Verification

Orders are considered confirmed only after:

  • Payment has fully cleared

  • Billing and shipping details have been verified

For high-value orders, additional verification may be required prior to shipment.

Cancellations & Refunds

If an order is canceled or an approved return is accepted:

  • Payment processing fees (credit card and PayPal) are non-refundable

  • Shipping, insurance, and signature confirmation costs are non-refundable

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be issued for the product amount only, less any applicable fees

Fraud Prevention

To protect both buyers and sellers, we may:

  • Require adult signature confirmation upon delivery

  • Decline transactions that fail verification checks

  • Cancel orders suspected of fraudulent activity

Chargebacks & Disputes

Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes may result in:

  • Immediate order cancellation

  • Account restriction

  • Permanent refusal of future service

Customers are encouraged to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a dispute.

Taxes & Shipping

Applicable sales tax and shipping charges are calculated and disclosed prior to checkout.

Sales Tax Collection

Sales tax is collected only where required by law.

Currently, sales tax is applied to orders shipped to states where we have a tax collection obligation (nexus).

Out-of-State Orders

Orders shipped outside of our nexus state may not have sales tax collected at checkout.

Buyers are responsible for any applicable use tax required by their state or local jurisdiction.

Shipping Liability

I understand that once my package is entrusted to a common carrier UPS that Night Sky Solutions does not have control over my package. Additionally, I agree that once such common carrier delivers my package to the address I specified, I am fully responsible for the safety of my package (please make sure that the common carrier has access to a safe location at which to deliver your package).

Export Controls & Compliance

All products are sold for U.S. domestic use only. We do not export, re-export, or transfer products outside the United States. International shipping is not offered.

  • You will not export, re-export, transfer, or resell any product outside the United States;

Night Sky Solutions reserves the right to cancel any order, refuse service, or request additional verification if we believe a transaction may violate export control laws or compliance requirements.

Certain products that may be offered in the future could be subject to additional U.S. export controls, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Any such restrictions will be clearly identified at the product level.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Standard Shipping

All night-vision devices and optical equipment are shipped insured and tracked via reputable carriers within the continental United States (CONUS).

Orders include free insured ground shipping unless otherwise stated.
Adult signature confirmation is required for all deliveries.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping options (2-Day or Next Day Air) are available at the buyer’s request and expense.

Expedited shipping charges include:

  • Carrier cost

  • Full shipment insurance

  • Adult signature confirmation

Exact expedited rates will be quoted and must be approved prior to shipment.

Remote & High-Cost Delivery Areas

Shipments to remote or high-cost service areas may incur additional shipping charges.
Buyers will be notified and must approve any additional cost before shipment is released.

Processing Time

Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days after payment has fully cleared.

Risk of Loss

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the buyer once the shipment is accepted by the carrier.
Tracking details will be provided at the time of shipment.

International Shipping

International shipping is not available for night-vision devices or optical equipment.

Returns & Inspection Policy

Due to the sensitive and high-value nature of night-vision and optical equipment, all sales are final unless otherwise stated below.

Inspection Upon Delivery (Required)

Buyers must inspect their item immediately upon receipt.

If there is any shipping damage, missing items, or obvious issues:

  • Notify us within 24 hours of delivery

  • Retain all original packaging

  • Provide clear photos and the shipment tracking number

Failure to report issues within 24 hours may void eligibility for review.

Returns

Returns are accepted only if:

  • The item is unused

  • In original condition

  • Includes all original packaging, accessories, and documentation

  • Shows no signs of mounting, use, or tampering

Any approved return is subject to inspection prior to acceptance.

Non-Returnable Conditions

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • The item has been used, mounted, or altered

  • Protective seals have been broken

  • There is evidence of improper handling

  • The device has been exposed to moisture, debris, or impact

Inspection & Restocking

If a return is approved:

  • Items are inspected upon receipt

  • A restocking fee may apply

  • Shipping and payment processing fees are non-refundable

Warranty

1 year warranty coverage is limited to manufacturer defects and does not cover:

  • User damage

  • Normal wear

  • Improper handling or storage

Warranty claims must be initiated through our support channel.

Final Disclaimer

Night-vision and optical devices are precision instruments. Improper handling, exposure to bright light sources, or misuse may permanently damage the equipment and void return eligibility.
